Dusty Kennedy Blah, blah, blah...
In our last lesson in Educational Media, we learned about accessibility features when designing documentation and web courses. It was eye-opening to say the least. Accessibility in documentation and websites is the process of creating content in such a way that it can be consumed by all, including those with...
Welcome! If you’re reading this, you’ve found the Educational Technology portion of my blog wherein I discuss all things related to my experience with Educational Technology and Instructional Design. But…first a little background. In the Fall of 2017 I noticed an ad on Facebook for the University of Arkansas’s online...
Well, the second semester of graduate school has officially begun. This semester, I’m enrolled in 2 classes: Educational Media and Instructional Design. This semester seems to be similar to last semester in regards to the types of classes. One fun/practical class and one theory/research type class. I’ll let you know...
Not a lot going on today. Amy and the girls were tired of being in the car (totally understandable), so they took a rest day. My dad need me to drive him into Ellsworth, ME to pick up his truck (had some AC repairs done). While there, and by myself,...

A lovely 60-something degree day with no agenda was spent beach-combing & exploring around Deer Isle & Brooklin, Maine. The girls found lots (& lots & lots) of snails around the water, & a couple of crabs. We love these off-the-beaten-path kinda days.

We started off the morning in the Cleveland, OH suburbs on a quest to find the Christmas Story house. We were successful. While there, we visited the Christmas Story Museum across the street and had fun seeing everything. After leaving the Christmas Story house, we started our adventure to Niagara...
