They resolve issues, answer questions, and provide administration services for the products. They consult with users on the usage of the products within their clients’ solutions. They drive expertise into these teams through different training offerings and knowledge articles. They have a strong understanding of the needs of the users and clients. And they translate those needs into data driven information and insights.

As a Senior User Consultant, I'm also responsible for developing user training in the area of the products that our group supports.

Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, I have been responsible for requirements gathering, documentation management, user experience enhancements, training creation and facilitation, and system promotion for our core marketing database system platform. I have spent a majority of my time working to enhance the usability of certain components of our marketing database suite of products.

Along with usability enhancements, I also double as a training developer by recording, editing, and producing videos used in training. This requires the ability to not only think technically, but creatively. Some duties in this area include voiceover work, video production, and graphic creation.

While in this position I have been asked to participate in several high profile projects, including being part of a creative task force to define our "Elevator Pitch," being part of a committee to plan our organization's annual Sales Summitt, and being part of a 100-Day Launch Team for a new high profile product launch.

As a Business Analyst for Acxiom, I was responsible for writing detailed business requirements for custom marketing database solutions for several Fortune 500 companies. My primary duties were to facilitate Discovery sessions with our clients to elicit custom business and functional requirements used to design their custom solution. This position required exceptional levels of communication and facilitation. I spent a majority of my time maintaining documentation and coordinating requirements gathering sessions with the clients.

As a part time web designer/developer with Creative Possibilities, I am contracted to maintain and develop web sites for clients. My clients fall into 2 categories: Maintenance and New Business. When creating a new web site, I use the Joomla platform exclusively. I am not fluent in HTML, PHP, or CSS, but can read enough to perform the tasks needed by my clients.

As a contract web designer/developer for a very small company, I am responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle: planning, budgeting, allocating time and resources, documentation, development, testing and implementation.

As a Business Analyst for USAble Life, I was responsible for writing detailed business requirements and test scripts in order to assist in the integration of new software systems. My primary duties were to coordinate with the business areas of the company and software vendors to ensure that the needs of the business were being met. I was also tasked with ensuring the integrity of new software changes that were passed on to us through our vendors.

This position required attention to detail, outstanding customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, track deadlines, clearly communicate our needs to our software vendors, and the ability to properly estimate cost and time associated with a project.

During my time USAble Life, I was given the responsibility of numerous high profile assignments. I was tasked to write a Request for Proposal for a new Quoting and Rating system, develop Issue Tracking logs and forms, write numerous business requirements documents, and work on the teams responsible for implementing a new company administration system, quoting and rating system, electronic enrollment system, electronic billing system, and document generation system.

As a Business Analyst for Pinnacle Business Solutions, INC., I was responsible for writing detailed business requirements and test scripts in order to assist in the development of software designed for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield and PBSI. I was also charged with ensuring the integrity of any software changes migrated into production for each client site. I also assisted in designing and developing web-enabled database applications for ABCBS and PBSI.

This position required attention to detail, outstanding customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, track deadlines, assign projects to various programmers, properly communicate ideas to the programmers and clients alike, and the ability to properly estimate cost and time associated with a project.

During my time at PBSI, I was assigned to a development team that was directly responsible for PBSI in acquiring multiple major government contracts to facilitate Medicare claims in 8 states. This team has developed a Paperless Workflow system that is designed to save time and money for PBSI and make the company one of the most competitive companies in the nation for Medicare claims processing. This system was recently awarded the Excellence In Information Integrity Silver award, an international award that recognizes organizations that strive to provide accurate, consistent and reliable information to their customers, suppliers and partners.

As a Business Analyst, I was responsible for writing detailed business requirements and test scripts in order to assist in the development of software designed for specific client needs. I was also charged with ensuring the integrity of any software changes migrated into production for each client site. During my time as a BA, I have primarily assisted in designing and developing web-enabled database applications for various government and private businesses.

I also traveled throughout the state and the US to hospitals, clinics, and Health Information Conferences as a Sales Representative to establish a relationship with potential clients.

During my employment at CIS, I was also responsible for project management artifacts such as status and detailed tracking reports generated for CIS management review. In this role, I authored several methods for tracking changes and their corresponding effort that have become the standard project management tools in assisting a sound SDLC for CIS.
